'Okka Ammayi Thappa' is yet another do-or-die project for lead actor Sundeep Kishan. The movie had its premiere on June 9th in USA. The trailer sparked more expectations and with Nithya Menen as female lead everyone expected the movie to mint money at Box-Office.
Even lead actor Sundeep Kishan kept all his hopes. So let's see about the movie. Plot is simple, Terrorists plant a bomb on flyover and they demand release of their boss. How Sundeep gets into terrorist plan and how he saves people by end of the day forms the rest of the story. Does the story ring a bell ?
Yeah ! We have seen such in lots of Hollywood and Bollywood movies. But the movie fails as a love story is blended into the core subject. The first half of the movie is too bad and unbearable. The pre-climax portion is the best part and Audience where glued to the seats during that time.
Comedy is another disaster. It's time Tollywood wakes up with some good sense of humour. If you think story is taken from Bollywood, you must hear 'Kaav Kaav' song. Background score was good. These kind of movies should be gripping from start to end. But 'Okka Ammayi Thappa' has failed miserably !
