In the past there are news about Mega family not in favour of Niharika Konidela making her filmy debut. Even fans have their inhibitions about a girl from Mega family coming in to films. Mega Heroes except Megastar Chiranjeevi have come together at last to support her by attending the audio launch event of her Oka Manasu.
The other day, Niharika met few female Mega fans in Hyderabad and talked to them about the challenges to her. She went on to say, "I know fans and family have some inhibitions me coming in to films. I understand all your issues. But I promise that I will never do any film which will bring bad name to fans and the family".
Oka Manasu is releasing on 24th of this month. Niharika is seen in a very traditional getup in the movie, in which she is paired opposite to Naga Shourya. Directed by Ramaraju of 'Mallela Therram lo Sirimalli Puvvu' fame, Oka Manasu is a joint production of Madhura Sreedhar and TV9. Sunil Kashyap had composed music for the film.
