Telugu Superstar Chiranjeevi's son Ram Charan married his childhood friend Upasana Kamineni on June 14, 2012 at Hyderabad. High profile guests such as Tamil superstar Rajinikanth, Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan Sridevi with husband Boney Kapoor, and South Indian actors Mohan Babu, Ambreesh, Venkatesh, and Suhasini Mani Ratnam attended the wedding.
Andhra Pradesh Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan, Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, Tamil Nadu Governor K. Rosaiah, many state ministers, members of parliament, former chief minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and leaders of various political parties also graced the event.

Upasana was dressed in Tarun Tahiliani designed yellow and gold silk sari with a swarovski encrusted border and embellished with zardosi French knots and a sprinkle of tiny soldered stones. Ram Charan was sporting a Tarun Tahiliani sherwani. Soon after the wedding, Chiranjeevi's family threw a lavish reception on Thursday evening at Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC) and it was attended by leading stars. The couple had a three day honeymoon at designer Salvatore Ferragamo's ranch in Italy. Today marks the 4th Wedding Anniversary for the 'Eternal Couple'.
