Star Heroes in Telugu film industry are always averse to experimentation citing image reasons. In the process, they keep on churning out routine and outdated Mass Masala entertainers. Occasionally, once or twice they resort to do different films but failure to execute them as the image bug comes back to bite them at a later date.
The same is happening with Ram Charan's Dhruva as well. Ram Charan since his debut is only churning out routine films, for the first time, he is attempting a different film which is the official remake of Tamil blockbuster, Thani Oruvan. Earlier the team thought of staying honest to the script in a bid to deliver a different film.
But as the film is progressing. Ram Charan's image bug has come back to bit him. The actor is insisting on changes to the script according to his image. In the original, Thani Oruvan, there are no dance numbers. But Ram Charan is insisting on making changes to the songs so that dances are added to make sure fans are satisfied.
