Baahubali the beginning is one proud film of Tollywood which got a wide reach among the nation and also worldwide beating some hindi films too.. The film is gearing for the release in China which is a market compared to India even for foreign films where PK movie made 100 crore business without much hype!
The question is the presence of only south regional film actors have taken the movie to a huge worldwide reach, adding a bollywood star to the cast would have given even much reach in domestic! Why wouldn't Rajamouli think about this idea?
Answering to this question Rajamouli said that no big stars can give a continuous 2 years of dedication for a single film without signing in any other films. Regional stars Rana, Prabhas, Anushka, Tamannah gave that dedication and he believed in them and made the film with those stars! He also said that he have never seen any bollywood star giving such a 2 years date for a film without doing any other films! His trust on south stars and their trust on the director made this possible!
