Rajinikanth’s '2.O' is being shaped by Director Shankar. The movie features Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar, Amy Jackson in pivotal roles. A.R. Rahman is composing music and the cinematography is handled by Nirav Shah. The project is produced by Lyca Productions.
Akshay Kumar is doing role of antagonist. As we reported earlier, the team has completed 60% of the shooting so far. Director Shankar has taken all pains not to reveal anything about the project. But now Amy Jackson has spilled beans about '2.O'
During her recent media interaction, she said, "Director Shankar sir has designed first of its Kind role for me and I am sure this is not explored in Indian cinema so far. Contrary to reports, I am not playing role of Robot in the movie. My details are kept under wraps."
The makers are planning to complete the shooting process by end of this year and start the post-production work at the earliest. If things go well, the movie will hit screens by Mid 2017. Watch out this space for more updates.
