The Bollywood director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who has already casted Deepika Padukone in his forthcoming project, Rani Padmavati, is keen to rope in Shahid Kapoor in the same and Shahid will be seen playing the character of Deepika Padukone's husband (i.e., Raja Rawal Ratan Singh of Mewar) in the film.
Meanwhile it will be Shahid's first film with the magical trio in Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Deepika Padukone & Ranveer Singh. Recently many pictures of Shahid & Deepika from IIFA 2016 events were released and they were actually looking very cute together.
It was stated that few days before rumors were also rife that Deepika has refused to romance a TV star in the film and she wanted a big star to play the character of her husband in the film.
Meanwhile SLB doesn't want to disappoint Deepika and that's why the ace director is planning to pair Shahid with Deepika and presently whether Shahid will be a part of Padmavati or not, only time will tell and keep watching for more refreshments.
