Yesterday, the success meet of 'Kabali' took place and Producer Kalaipuli.S.Thanu reported that the movie has collected Rs.320 Crores within first weekend and the collections are phenomenal. According to The Economic Times, Rajinikanth’s Kabali reportedly collected a record 250 crore on its first day.

But trade source confirms that these figures are just fake. As per bankable sources, the real Box-Office figures is Rs.89.4 Crores from all 4 languages. But everyone bought the lies and producers just blown it out of the proportion The numbers are compared to Bollywood Super Stars and that is not fair because in Tamil Nadu, movies get Tax-Free and so tickets are cheaper.

Leading trade analyst Atul Mohan said the producer has hiked the figures for Psychological reasons. This is similar to how shops sell clothes for Rs.499 instead of Rs.500. Audience will feel that if the figures are good, the movie has to be good.

Amod Mehra said, The movie has no chance of survival as it's a pretty bad, amateurishly made movie. Rajinikanth may be God for South, but in North, he is just another actor. Komal Nahta said Thanu is trying to fool himself and the public with such figures.
