Who would have imagined, a medium budget movie 'Kabali' will storm Box-Office despite its negative reviews and flaws. But that is what SuperStar magic can do ! Super Star who faced a bad storm from his daughter's 'Kochadaiyaan' and KS Ravikumar's 'Lingaa' has bounced back massive.
As he planned, 'Kabali' was completed in quick time and also within stipulated budget. Producer Thanu agreed to pay 50 Crores as remuneration for Rajini and now as he reaped more profits, Rajini's remuneration has been raised to 82 Crores !
This is something phenomenal and with this Rajinikanth has became the highest paid actor in India and second highest paid actor in Asia. Even Bollywood stars Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan are getting remuneration up to 30 Crores alone.
Jackie Chan is still the highest paid actor in Asia. Now '2.O' which is India's biggest movie is expected to do better business than 'Kabali'. With biggies in name, Shankar is just crafting a big project. Let's keep our fingers crossed till it gets a release.
