Gauthamiputra Satakarni is one of the most anticipated project of the year which is planned for a Sankranthi release. Balakrishna is playing as the hero of the film and Shreya Saran is playing the female lead role. And DSP was opted to compose the music for the historical film.
Recent shocking news is that Devi Sri prasad opted out of the historical project due to some reasons. At the beginning itself the team has reportedly decided to complete all the shooting works before October and to give time for the VFX and post production to complete their work to make the film ready for Sankranthi to hit the screens.
Hence the team urged DSP to compose the tunes soon and he couldn't match the speed. As it is a project with historical backdrop, it is impossible to hurry the music department. And also DSP was busy with his other projects too, he couldn't completely concentrate on Satakarni alone. Due to these change in agreements, Devi Sri Prasad himself opted out from the prestigious project.
