Srikanth Addala shaped the family drama 'Brahmotsavam' and Mahesh Babu did lead role. The project is produced by Prasad.V.Potluri under PVP cinemas banner. Kajal Aggarwal, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Pranitha Subhash did female lead roles.
Technical team featured Mickey.J.Meyer for music, Rathnavelu for cinematography and Sreekar Prasad for editing. Apart from the lead actors the supporting cast is filled with actors like Sathyaraj, Jayasudha, Naresh, Revathi, Tanikella Bharani and Brahmaji.
The movie which released on May 20th opened to mixed and negative critics. Mahesh Babu faced some harsh critics from fans as well as trade pundits. The movie however was encouraged by few section of people.
Mahesh Babu star value has no limits and the flop movie 'Brahmotsavam' has now got a huge reach after these many days. A bluray copy of the movie is released and within 24 hours more than 100,000+ people have downloaded it. This clearly shows the love people has for Mahesh Babu and his movies.
Right now, Mahesh Babu is working on AR Murugadoss project and Rakul Preet pairs against him. The movie went on floors recently and the shooting is expected to take place further in Chennai.
