'Babu Bangaram' is aTelugu Action Romantic comedy flick written and directed by Maruthi. The movie features Venkatesh and Nayanthara in the lead roles. Ghobran scores music. Technical team features Richard Prasad for cinematography and SB Uddav for Editing.
Posani Krishna Murali has done role of antagonist. Brahmaji and Sonam Bajwa are part of supporting cast. The movie is bankrolled by S.Radha Krishna under Haarika and Hassine creations banner. The movie despite negative criticism managed to collect Rs.17 Crores in Telugu speaking states.
However the collections have taken a pit fall due to bad word and foul mouth content. There has been a major drop in collections for past two days and it is hard for the movie to reach the break even stage. The promotions has als been stopped in most of the print media.
Venkatesh has also worked on his promotions even though Nayantara didn't attend any event. Director Maruthi is upset as the movie never got desired response. The comeback for venkatesh has been such a disaster overall !
