One year ago on this day Mohan Raja who took a long gap after his movie Velayudham with Vijay came back with his masterpiece Thanioruvan which he gave his fullest effort and things he've got in him and sculpted the movie. The movie stars his brother Jayam Ravi as male lead role, Nayanthara as female lead and Aravindsamy playing the antagonist role.
Thanioruvan released last year August 28 and stood as a surprise by giving a powerful movie enough social thoughts and instructions to citizens of the country regarding politics. It was a complete entertainer with a perfect acting by Jayam Ravi as a socialist man police officer Mithran. The battle between good and bad that is between Mithran and Sidharth Abimanyu is the story.
Aravindsamy outstandingly performed his Sidharth Abimanyu role as hardcore and brilliant villain. Music played a major role in the movie which was composed by Hiphop Aadhi which made a lot of impact to the screen. The racy screenplay with added romance and comedy the movie stood as a clean blockbuster and people's favourite too. The success of the movie took it to remake in Telugu as Dhruva and remake offers are On in Hindi and other regional languages too.
