1. Kabali
Undoubtedly the king rules with his alltime overseas Blockbuster with its epic making Kabali not only in 2016, but tops alltime kollywood overseas gross and one among top 10 overseas gross of Indian movies. The movie made $15.65M[Rs105Cr] in overseas box office and emerged as 1st Tamil movie to enter 100 crore club in overseas!
2. Theri
Probably Theri was the first biggie movie of the year and also easily entered superhit category in overseas with a re c ord collection of $6.65M[Rs44Cr] in overseas and standing as best figures for Vijay in overseas.
3. 24
Irrespective of its perfomance in regional box office, 24 turned as Blockbuster in overseas with the solid content and hollywood class making 24 also turned as highest grosser for Suriya in overall and in overseas too. The movie made $5.31M[Rs35Cr] in overall overseas box office.
4. Rajinimurugan
A surprise Blockbuster and indeed Sivakarthikeyan's best sofar in all aspects in Rajinimurugan with an entertaining rural content released on pongal emerged as the next level entry for Siva and it made $1.78M[Rs12Cr] in overseas.
5. Aranmanai 2
Sundar.C 's Horror blockbuster Aranmani movie's franchise film Aranmanai 2 was also a blockbuster making a collection of $1.64M[Rs11Cr] in overseas it remains in the 5th spot.
6. Idhu Namma Aalu
Simbu's another delayed release after Vaalu got a good response for its youthful content and the presence of Simbu and Nayanthara too. The movie made good figures in overseas collecting $0.70M[Rs5Cr] in total.
7. Irudhi Suttru
The much expected bilingual flick although didn't make the expected figures it got a huge appreciations and a decent figures allover making an amount of $0.56M[Rs 4Cr] in overseas box office.
8. Miruthan
The Zombie entertaining thriller is short time movie which made a good collection for Jayam Ravi movie in overseas of $0.56M[Rs 4Cr] in total.
9. Kadhalum Kadandhu Pogum
Vijay Sethupathi's first movie of this year was easily a blockbuster in Overseas making good profit with a gross of $0.43M[Rs 3Cr] in overseas.
10. Sethupathi
And just a 2 weeks later released Sethupathi after Kakakapo which also was a hit with making a good number of $0.24M[Rs 2Cr] in overseas boxoffice and emerging as a growing boxoffice hero.
