'Premam' team would not have expected such a shocking turn around for the 2 minute video song teaser. There have been numerous trolls and memes against the video song 'Evare'. Lots of trolls and memes went viral and even hashtag #RIPPremam trended National wide.
The makers of 'Premam' were lot worried on such a negativity. Shruti haasan in particular was trolled to core as she reprised role of Sai Pallavi from the original. Even though Shruti haasan did a good job in the promo, she was pulled down by most of them.
Now Shruti haasan has opened about the trolls. She said, "I was skeptical when the makers approached me and asked me to be part of 'Premam'. But I firmly believed Chandoo Mondeti who has recreated the beauty of the original.
I request People not to draw comparisons between the Original & Remake. Please, watch ‘Premam’ with an open mind." Even though there has been a positive buzz, trade sources are worried as the negative criticism might pull the movie down to a new scale.
