Junior NTR's 'Janatha Garage' is out and the fate of the movie is sealed. Most of them have rated the movie as average. Critics also have lashed out the movie. The movie had a great opening in Kerala as Mohanlal is doing a crucial role.
But now it seems Malayalam dubbed version has met the same fate as Telugu version. The Malayalam version too has got similar average word of mouth and collections. With Vikram's 'Iru Mugan' releasing in Tamil and Malayalam on 8th and there are other major Onam releases, the fate of the movie is already sealed.
The working day also had its impact on the opening day collections. The Malayalam version never had any theatrical trailer release. This was a big blow to the movie. Mohanlal's distribution house Maxlab Cinemas also never promoted the movie. So this resulted in low pre-release hype.
The only hope now for the movie is the upcoming long weekend with Vinayakar Chavithi falling on Monday. Junior NTR who planned to increase his existing market has suffered a huge blow this time. Mohanlal is also badly upset with the mediocre reviews.
