'Janatha Garage' surprised everyone as the movie done some remarkable business at Box-office despite average reviews and mixed critics. The movie did some exceptional business and collections were raking on first week. But after that, it is completely on the down fall.
There are quite few factors which helped the opening weekend. The longweekend and holidays worked on its favour. But after that ? Trade reports claim that the movie has fallen short of 'Nannaku Prematho'. 'Nannaku Prematho' did $2 Million business in USA and 'Janatha Garage' just managed $1.5 Million.
It should be noted that, 'Janatha Garage' never got released with any competitor. So it has to cross $2 Million. But it fell pretty short of it. When a movie like 'A..Aa..' was able to cross $2.5 Million, then a blockbuster movie should collect at least 2x times of that.
But 'Janatha Garage' is pretty below the line. Even flop movies of leading actors are collecting more than $1 Million, so a huge hit movie should at least mint $2 Million. But as it never made, the movie ends up as 'AVERAGE'
