Bollywood sources have stated that on Wednesday has come the declaration that Katrina Kaif will be the next recipient to be honored with the Smita Patil Memorial Award and she has joined the ranks of actresses like Tanvi Azmi, Sridevi and Manisha Koirala, Urmila Matondkar, Tabu, Vidya Balan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra.
It was stated that Miss Kaif has been in the Hindi film industry for more than a decade, and her latest release “Baar Baar Dekho” with Sidharth Malhotra wasn't a complete wash out, however many in the online universe believe that the decision taken by the Priyadarshini Academy, the NGO conducting these awards.
