Ram Gopal Varma film 'Satya' was about a guy who came in 1997 to Mumbai and got shaped by the then existing conditions in the underworld. It had JD Chakravarthy, Urmila Matondkar, Manoj Bajpai and Shefali Shah playing lead roles in the film. While Satya 2 is about a guy who comes to Mumbai in 2013 to reinvent and reestablish a non existent underworld .
It's a bilingual film, Sharwanand is playing lead in Telugu version and movie title as "Satya" and fresh faces are taken for the movie.The film will also have a knowledge of the modern day policing methods and will have a vision for newer revenue models for the underworld. It will also be armed with his Satya 2 hero character understanding of the mistakes made by Dawood Rajan Salem Shakeel and Gawli.
