Two of the biggest hubs for cinema are Hyderabad and Chennai. The range of star heroes and their fan following is beyond description of words. With the cinema industry expanding in a big way and the business also looking fruitful there are many multiplexes which are coming up. This has led to a war of sorts between Hyderabad and Chennai.
According to recent reports, Hyderabad is coming up with nearly half a dozen multiplexes in the next three to four years. Notable among them are areas like RTC Crossroads, Sangeeth Cinema, Patny Centre and other places. Even few standalone theatres would be getting converted into multiplexes.
The same is the situation with Chennai which has got nearly four to five big multiplexes coming up. This would mean more of Telugu films can be screened there and Tamil films can be screened here. Some are saying that there is a competition between both cities as to which one will have the higher number of multiplexes. Let us see which city will win then.
