Hollywood's high action packed film "THE EXPENDABLES 2" didn't really light up the box office like Sylvester Stallone and company thought it would. As expected, development work has started on The Expendables 3, and we're guessing that a release towards the end of summer 2014 is on the cards.
There were plenty of rumours about the film - John Woo possibly directing, Jackie Chan, Harrison Ford and Nicolas Cage in the cast - but Sylvester Stallone has now taken to his Twitter feed to offer some more concrete information. He tweeted as
Writing EX3 at the moment... there are going to be mountains of surprises. EX3 needs NEW blood and more humor.... The films were always meant to be more on the humorous side with moments of drama.

The first two films brought over half a billion dollars worldwide. Let's wish the third series of Expendables struck platinum than gold or diamond at box office this time, what say folks.
