This is the age of second innings for many heroines and what started as a trend in Bollywood has picked up in the south too. In the last few years, many actresses who ruled once as heroines have come back and they have been doing significant roles as mothers, sister-in-law or any other character roles.
In that list joins one more actress and she is none other than Madhubala fondly known as Madhoo. She shot to fame with the film ‘Roja’ directed by Mani Ratnam and then followed it up with one more blockbuster in the form of ‘Gentleman’ starring Arjun. Now, after a long gap Madhoo is making preparations to come back.
Soon, she will be seen in the Telugu film ‘Anthaku Mundhu Aa Tharuvatha’. This has Sumanth Ashwin, son of producer M S Raju, as the hero and it is heard that Madhoo will do the role of Sumanth’s mother. The film is directed by Indraganti Mohan Krishna and produced by Damodar Prasad. Welcome back Madhoo!
