Hollywood star actress and special envoy of the United Nations’ refugee agency has opened her heart and her wallet to fund a girls-only school in Afghanistan. The mum-of-six’s education initiative will educate 200-300 girls just outside of the country’s capital Kabul when the actress makes her style of designs available to stores.
Still guessing who is this beauty with pure heart & soul, she is non-other than Angelina Jolie. About 300 girls are already attending the school, and with Angelina's line expanding, she plans on giving 100 percent of the proceeds to her new foundation, The Education Partnership for Children of Conflict.
The 37-year-old actress said, Beyond enjoying the artistic satisfaction of designing these jewels, we are inspired by knowing our work is also serving the mutual goal of providing for children in need.
