It is quite natural to see that when a film scores a hit for a hero in his debut attempt, a lot of expectations are set. Something like that happened with Mangam Sreenivas also known as Sree. He made his debut with the sleeper hit ‘Ee Rojullo’ and from thereon many praised him as the next best thing for Tollywood.
True to that hype, Sree was signed for nearly half dozen films and some said he will be the best replacement for Nani in the small budget film segment. But it looks like all that hype is just artificial and Sree’s real material is coming out. After ‘Ee Rojullo’ all his films became massive flops.
Films like ‘Rye Rye’ ‘Aravind 2’ and the latest release ‘Gola Seenu’ turned out to be big duds at the box office. It is also heard that Sree was not able to perform to the expected level. He still has few more films in hand so we have to see whether he is going to bring some changes with that or continue flopping.
