Directorial debut of Oscar winning cinematographer Wally Pfister film 'Transcendence' is getting bigger every day with more stars adding to the movie. Already pirate hero Johnny Depp is playing main lead in this sci-fi movie along with Paul Bettany, Rebecca Hall and Kate Mara.
Latest addition to this flick is Oscar winning actor Morgan Freeman. Wally said to a media agent "Freeman is in "final negotiations" to join the film's cast, which means he'll be on set barring some last-minute catastrophe".
Movie plot details have been closely guarded, but the film is described as in the vein of '2001 A Space Odyssey' and 'Inception' . Sources say Johnny Depp plays the role of a man who creates a computer program that develops an awareness. The shooting will begin in May in Los Angeles with a target to release the movie on April 25, 2014.
