The Family Court in Chennai is to pass a final verdict on the 22nd of this month in the case filed by actress Revathi seeking formal divorce from her husband Suresh Menon. The final verdict on the case is to be passed on 22nd April, 2013 and divorce decree is very much on the cards.
The duo fell in love while Revathi was acting in 'Prema Pasam' and married with their parent's consent almost a couple of decades ago. But their marriage turned out to be a turbulent affair plagued by difference of opinions between the two. Though they looked like an ideal couple, they developed irreconcilable differences later and were not blessed with any child which added further to their troublesome marital life.
Revathi acted in over 150 films that include all the South Indian languages and Hindi as well. She won several awards for her flawless acting prowess and even turned into director with the film 'Mitr, My Friend' in 2002 which won her National Award for Best Regional Film . It's really sad to hear the divorce news of this multi-talented film personality.
