These days films and film celebrities are the easiest targets for anyone and everyone. Irrespective of whether they have done something wrong or not, the media creates a big sensation and defames it to the fullest. And if it involves the minority communities then the hype and projection is more severe.
This could be one problem that the new film ‘Saahasam’ might face. Starring Gopichand in the lead, recently few stills from the film have been released. Though it is touted to be an adventure thriller it is heard that few Muslim organizations have got alerted after looking at the stills as they discovered some members of their community being shown.
They are waiting to see if by any chance their religion or their community members have been shown in some negative light so that action can be taken. Already, we have seen the struggles that Kamal Haasan had to go through for no fault of his with the film ‘Vishwaroopam’. We hope nothing of that sort happens with ‘Saahasam’.
