Rajamouli's creation Eega not only won the heats of many movie lovers but also that of jury members as it went on to win two national awards. It now got another crown as it will be screened at 66th Cannes Film Festival on May 20th.
According to the inside information bouyed by the respose to the film, Rajamoli is considering making sequel to the film and is thinking of making it on a larger scale with the usage of hitech animation techniques.
Rajamouli who never expected such a response to Eega is extremely excited with th eresults. Sources say Rajamouli who is promoting Eega is considering to turn it into a franchisee and make Hollywood style sequels.
However currently Rajamouli is committed to Baahubali starring Prabhas,Rana, Anushka.It has to be seen whether he will come with Eega later or another new experiment. Eega did not get much response in Hindi and many feel dubbing tag affected its performance. If sequel comes one can be sure it will be a trilingual.
