After scoring a hit with ‘Eega’ director S S Rajamouli had announced his new film ‘Bahubali’. Though the announcement came few months ago till now the film didn’t even have its first shot. But then it is heard that Rajamouli and producer Shobu Yarlagadda are already working on some business strategies.
Rajamouli is currently in Shanghai attending an international film festival which has also got the presence of celebrities like Jackie Chan. There is news that Rajamouli along with Shobu are trying to analyze the business potential of ‘Bahubali’ by speaking to few prospective distributors, buyers etc.
In a way ‘Eega’ has helped give Rajamouli some element of recognition and demand in the south east Asian market. But how much benefit that will give for ‘Bahubali’ is too early to say. There are also reports that Rajamouli is planning to shoot few sequences in those regions. The film has Prabhas, Daggubati Rana, Anushka in the lead.
