However despite all this India has been unable to bring home Dawood and punish him for the crimes committed by him. In the midst of all this Bollywood star Rishi Kapoor shocked all saying he had tea with the international dreaded don Dawood Ibraham.
Sharing his secrets in his autobiography he said he met Dawood Ibrahim in 1998 when he went to Dubai for Asha Bhosle-RD.Burman concert.He said when he was at the airport, a stranger came to him and handed over his phone saying ''Dawood saab baat karenge'.
Dawood invited too his house and also also told him that he can contact him any time. Dawood's right hand Baba told that Dawood would like to have tea with him and he was picked from his hotel in Rolls Royce. Dawood greeted Rishi Kapoor at an undisclosed location and he offered him tea as he donot drink or serve alcohol.
During the four hours meeting, Dawood didnot regret his criminal acts and boasted that he is Allah's messenger. Dawood said he liked Rishi Kapoor's character name Dawood in the film Tawaif. in D-Day,Rishi Kapoor played the role of Don Dawood.
