2017 has given a great start to Telugu Film Industry as majority of movies turned out to be a big blockbusters. Senior heroes like Chiranjeevi with Khaidi No 150 and Balayya with Gautamiputra Satakarni delivered blockbusters but then Om Namo Venkatesaya puts an end to Nagarjuna's success streak of Manam, Oopiri and Soggade Chinni Nayana.
Om Namo Venkatesaya opened with highly positive talk but then it could not live up to it. Unfortunately Good WoM hasn't translated into Revenues for the movie. A Huge Disaster at the BO.The movie had hit abnormal lows after the weekend holidays. Trade Experts say the movie is likely to end up as a massive failure now.
The movie has to collect around 35 Crore Share Worldwide to be a breakeven venture and is likely to finish under 10 Crore in its full run at the box office. The movie may be looking at some 25 Crore Loss given the indications which is very massive. Probably this failure will ensure that Om Namo Venkatesaya will be the last devotional film in Telugu Film Industry.
