I have been a habit in the film industry to follow the rat’s tail. It might be considered as a curse or a blessing for Film industry as if one movie gets released in a particular genre, at least 5 movies gets released in similar way and in the same trend. Now it’s trend to shoot in the forests.
Arya's 'Kadamban' and Jayam Ravi's 'Vaanmagan' are both forest-based movies and both are forest-based romantic stories. Kadamban the upcoming Tamil epic action drama film is written and directed by Raghava and it is still under process. On the other hand Vaanmagan, an action adventure film is written and directed by A. L. Vijay.
The Vaanmagan official trailer was released which has screened the lush greens of deep forests. Years before it was a time to make films based on the earthen raw flavors of Tamilnadu and the movie were shot at Tirunelveli, Thoothukoodi etc.
Director Hari was the trend setter then to shoot such movies. Some of them in his direction where Vikram’s Saamy,Vishal’s Thamirabarani. These movies made a super doper hit at the box office and now it’s time for forest movies.
