Powerstar Pawan Kalyan's Katamarayudu has managed to survive in the opening weekend with decent numbers. But then the performance in the working days is miserable as almost all the centers registering below par openings much to the distress of the Trade.
But then after two bad outings on Monday and Tuesday, the movie registered some respite today due to Ugadi Festival holiday. This is the best day for the movie after the first weekend. This day and the next weekend will be crucial to the film in its final tally.
Anything below 70 Crore Share will be called as a disastrous performance. The movie had registered a Pre-Release Business of 102 Crore which is unprecedented for a movie with a non-star director. Two disasters on a trot for Pawan Kalyan with Sardaar Gabbar Sing and Katamarayudu. And they come at a time when he is contemplating retirement from the films.
