Nandamuri Balakrishna was praised a lot for choosing 'Gautamiputra Satakarni' as his 100th movie. When most of the actors were choosing commercial masala movies, he opted for an off-beat movie and even tasted success with that.
All eyes were on his 101st movie and it was confirmed that Puri Jagannath will direct the venture. It became one of the highly anticipated action entertainers and the first schedule of the movie was wrapped up last month and the new schedule is planned to kickstart on 6th.
However, things look bleak for the project right now. Puri Jagannadh, in particular, has lost his shine and after the disastrous 'Rogue' no one is ready to trust Puri's script writing skills. Now, for music, Anup Rubens has been roped inside. Anup Rubens has earlier worked with Puri for 'Heart Attack' and 'Temper'.
However, for a commercial movie, a music composer of Devi Sri Prasad's stature would do wonders. Even DSP was badly missed in Pawan's 'Katamarayudu'. Also, for the female lead, they have opted for debutant Muskaan without a notable actress. Things are not promising as of now for #NBK101. The movie is funded by Bhavya Creations banner.
