Megastar Chiranjeevi and Nandamuri Balakrishna, the two leading blocks of Telugu industry, bounced back with hit films this Sankranthi with their respective movies, have surprisingly received shockers from Television viewers.
Balayya’s blockbuster hit Gautamiputra Satakarni, which got him fame and became his first Rs 50 Cr film, had its world TV premiere on 29th March on the eve of Ugadi festival. And, the historical film registered a low TRP Rating of 5.52 that makes the actor feel embarrassed.
To compare with this, Dil Raju brand family entertainer Shatamanam Bhavathi, which emerged the 2017 Sankranthi winner at the box office, has achieved record TRP rating of 15.4. This Sharwanand starrer was telecasted this Sunday. Comparatively, the TRP of Balayy’s GPS (5.52) is very low compared to that of the rating of Shataman Bhavathi (15.4).
On the other hand, Megastar Chiranjeevi hosted a game show Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu (MEK) still has not got a good TRP. In the TRP record of last three weeks, MEK registered pathetically low TRP Ratings of 3.62, 2.38 and 2.53 respectively. To clearly understand, how lame the performance of MEK4 is,
