Recently, Tamil Super Star Rajinikanth during a public event urged Online reviewers and Social media users to delay the reviews until the movie completes its first weekend. He also requested the reviewers to follow this as it would let the audience to watch movies without being influenced by the reviews.
Vishal also urged the same and asked reviewers to refrain from posting reviews very early. But this request grabbed mixed response from all sides. During a recent interview, Senior Producer Suresh Babu said that reviews are part of the system and no one can stop it.
It is just a freedom of expression and anyone can like or hate a movie. He further questioned, "How can you stop the Social media? It is not at all possible." He futher ended his speech by saying that no Positive review can save a bad movie and a Negative review can spoil the run of a good movie. At the same time, he also said how early reviews helped small budget movies like 'Pelli Choopulu' and 'The Ghazi Attack'.
