Kollywood sources have stated that having completed the shooting of 2.0, the protagonist of the movie, Superstar Rajinikanth is free at the moment. 2.0, which has entered into the post production work will be hitting screens on January 25, 2018.
As per the latest buzz, it was stated that the shooting of Rajinikanth-Ranjith combo which is being referred to as Thalaivar 161 is said to go on floors on 28th of May. The muhurat and initial canning of certain sequences will happen in Chennai where a giant set is said to have been erected replicating the Dharavi Slum of Mumbai city.
Rajinikanth would be seen in a don role playing his age and might as well
be playing dual characters in the movie. It was rumored that the legendary
actor might reprise the role of Haji Mastan, the underworld don and the
director of the movie rubbished the rumors.
It was stated that with recent clicks of Rajinikanth captured during various public outings showing him in a beard look, one could expect another stylish don look as was witnessed in Kabali. If the movie's shoot commences on 28th May as expected, then Thalaivar fans could be in for a real sumptuous feast as they could expect two movies of the Superstar in 2018.
