Usually there used to be some interesting talk around heroine Sridevi during her hey days in South filmdom. People from Bombay used to say, 'Being such a beauty who has complete North looks, what is Sridevi doing in South?'. And now, another such thing is getting heard from south film lovers.
Meanwhile it happens to be the release of "Meri Pyaari Bindu" movie which features bubbly Parineeti Chopra in the lead while Ayushman Khurana is the hero. Smitten by her cute acts in Ishaqzaade, there is a huge fan base for Parineeti down south too. And in this latest film that released, she actually sports a huge bindi on her forehead during the climax scenes. She completely looked like a South Indian and floored cinema lovers again.
When looking at Parineeti's appearances, audiences
are commenting, 'What is Parineeti doing in Bollywood? Earlier the likes of
Koratala Siva approached Parineeti asking her to debut into Telugu films but
she quoted sky-high prices and a huge change in the script as well to suit her
image. So, dreams of fans may not come true sooner.
On the other hand, Meri Pyaari Bindu is a little slower film which finds appeal among love failures but not usual audiences. The movie was released last Friday and is running successfully.
