Sources have made a statement that the shooting of Mahanati, a biopic on yesteryear actress Savitri had commenced on Monday. Currently, a picture of actress Samantha from the sets of this film is going viral on social media and needless to say it left many scratching their heads.
Meanwhile it is known that beautiful actress Keerthy Suresh is reprising the role of Savitri in Mahanati. Samantha is also playing a crucial role in the film. It was widely reported so far that she would be seen as a journalist tracing the story of Savitri.
It was stated that Samantha's costumes in this
picture make everyone doubt whether she really is playing a journalist or the
character of some contemporary actress of Savitri.
Currently the makers are canning a vintage song featuring Keerthy Suresh. Samantha's costumes indicate that she too is taking part in the song shoot, sharing screen space with Savitri aka Keerthy. In that case, she is not essaying the role of a journalist.
