She also has a handful of movies under her belt more than top ranked actresses. Among them, '96' is a romantic comedy in Tamil. The movie will be written and directed by C.Prem Kumar. This is his debut movie and earlier he worked as a cinematographer for 'Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom'.
Trisha during the first day of shooting
Vijay Sethupathi will be doing the male lead role. The movie will be funded by Nandagopal of Madras Enterprises. Govind Menon scores music and N.Shanmuga Sundaram handles cinematography. The first-look poster was revealed on Valentines Day and from today the movie goes on floors.
The first schedule of shooting will happen at Kumbakonam. The movie revolves around two characters who belong to the same batch - 1996 and the male protagonist will be seen as a Travel Photographer.
