Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio who dreamed so long about winning Oscar finally won it for his performance in 'The Revenant' movie. But now he has returned Marlon Brando's best actor Oscar statuette to the US government.

He did this as part of an investigation into the Money laundering issue. DiCaprio bagged Oscar and other artifacts as his 38th birthday present from Red Granite Pictures who also bankrolled his movie 'The Wolf of Wall Street'.

Now, the actor voluntarily handed over the Oscar statuette and all gifts into a 3.5$ Million money laundering scheme. Officials from US Government suspect that Red Granite Film co-producer Riza Aziz might have helped his step father Najib Razak who is Malaysian Prime Minister to embezzle $4.5 Million. An Official spokesperson of DiCaprio said that the actor gave away the art and the Oscar to the concerned authorities.
