Under the directorial of AL Vijay, Jayam Ravi and Sayyeshaa Saigal had acted in Vanamagan. Jayam Ravi had acted as a tribal man in the movie. The movie was bankrolled by Think Big Studios and Kona Films Company. The movie was released on June 23rd. Harris Jayaraj had scored the music. The movie was running successfully in all theatres of the state and due to the implementation of GST theatre owners have closed all theatres in Tamilnadu.
Last week Friday R. Kannan's Ivan Thandhiran movie was released and the movie features Gautam Karthick, Shraddha Srinath and RJ Balaji in leading roles. Sources have stated that both the movies faced financial constraints on account of GST implementation.
Theatre owners association has organized a
strike and so all the theatres in Tamilnadu were closed. Recently all the
theatre owners have got back the strike and screening of movies had started. So
currently it was stated that both the movies are planned to hit screens again
