In an interview, Jagapathi Baby was asked about the home work he did for the role. "The director Vasu asked me to see Janatha Garage for NTR's Body Language and Intensity in acting. He wanted the same in this movie. I watched the movie and tried the same," Jagapathi Babu said.
Patel S.I.R has Jagapathi Babu playing the titular role after a very long time. Tamil actress Padmapriya and Appatlo Okadundevadu actress Tanya Hope will be seen in crucial roles. The movie is produced by noted filmmaker Sai Korrapati on his Varahi Chalana Chitram Banner. Debutant Vasu Parimi is the wielding the megaphone while DJ Vasanth is the music composer.
