Celebrity stylist Neeraja Kona, who has been known for her perfect styling and fashion sense, and for her works with stars like Samantha, Rashi Khanna, Rakul Preet Singh, Nivetha Thomas and many others, recently turned distributor for the Nithiin starrer LIE in few areas. Now, she's all set to make her entry into Kollywood with a very special flick.
Neeraja's Kollywood journey is set to have a big start, as she'll be working on the upcoming flick of director Hari, the sequel to his 2003 blockbuster Saamy (which was remade in Telugu as Lakshmi Narasimha with Balakrishna, Asin, and Prakashraj). Vikram and Trisha will reprise their roles from the original, besides also having Keerthi Suresh as the second heroine. Neeraja Kona will take care of Vikram and Trisha's styling in Saamy 2.
Saamy 2 will reportedly start rolling from September 15 and will be shot in North India mostly, besides locations in Thoothukudi and Ramanathapuram. The film is rumoured to have Chiyaan Vikram in dual roles as father and Son and will have national award winning actor Bobby Simha playing the antagonist. With music by Devi SriPrasad, the film is bankrolled by Shibu Thameens who produced Irumugan.
