Sources from Bollywood industry have made a statement that it is Tapsee Pannu, the actress, who will next be seen with Varun Dhawan in Judwaa 2, is all set to pair opposite Diljit Dodsanjh in Shaad Ali’s next movie. The film will be based on hockey player and ex-captain of the Indian hockey team, Sandeep Singh. The movie will be based on the life of Sandeep Singh and the woman who inspired him.
Meanwhile as per a report, Sandeep Singh was all set to go to Germany for the World Cup, but he got severely injured by an accidental gunshot while by travelling by train. The injury almost paralyzed him; he was put on the wheelchair for nearly two years. Also, he went to become the lead scorer between 2013 – 2015 in the Indian Hockey League. He scored a total of 178 international goals.
Meanwhile Tapsee will also essay the role of a hockey player. In fact,
it’s her character that motivates Sandeep to get back on the field. The movie
will be produced by Chitrangada Singh and Sneha Rajani. Diljit and Tapsee will
soon kick-start their training sessions.
