The Pretty Rakul Preet Singh has been having a successful run in Tollywood, as she has now become one of the most wanted heroines of the industry, with hits with big stars of the T - Town, Naanaku Prematho with Jr NTR, Sarrainodu with Allu Arjun and Dhruva with Ramcharan, besides small hits like Venkatadri Express and the recent Rarandoi Veduka Chudam to her credit.
Little do people know that the actress had already made her Tamil film debut with a small role in the 2012 action thriller Thadaiyara Thaakka, and tried her luck as a heroine twice with Puthagam (2013) and Yennamo Yedho (2014), both of which turned out to be disasters. Later, Rakul's focus turned to Tollywood, and since then it was no getting back to Kollywood for the young actress.
Now, the actress is all set to test her potential in Kollywood, not just once but twice with back to back releases in Tamil, the first of them being the big budget Spy thriller by A.R.Murugadoss, Spyder opposite Superstar Mahesh Babu which releases September 27, followed by the Karthi starrer cop action flick Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru by Sathuranga Vettai fame director H.Vinoth, which is set to release on eve of Diwali festival. Let's see if the charming princess of Tollywood can achieve some Kollywood glory with these biggies coming in quick succession.
