Kollywood's Isaipayal A.R.Rahman is an international icon of Indian music. He has been working in many international and Hollywood films and he is also the only Indian to win two Oscars. Rahman had scored music for the British-Indian historical film 'Viceroy's House' directed by Gurindher Chadha. The film released in February this year and it opened up in Indian screens in August.
Currently Rahman has announced that 'Viceroy's House' has been nominated for World Soundtrack Award. Moreover as usual, he has credited the almighty for this new international recognition.
Accordingly this means Rahman is looking at yet another international
award. Already he has won two Academy awards, two Grammy awards, one Golden
Globe and one Bafta awards among others. Our sincere wishes the legendary music
director to win another award in this new nomination also.
