Actor Karthi is looking forward to scoring big with his upcoming Release Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru, in which he'll be playing a tough cop, and is paired with Rakul Preet Singh. Directed by H.Vinoth of Sathuranga Vettai fame, this movie is based on real-life incidents and life experiences of cops and is shot extensively in parts of North India.
After completing this flick, Karthi will move on to a family entertainer, that will be directed by feel-good filmmaker Pandiraj. It is expected that this film will see Keerthy Suresh, who's on a high with Biggies like the Savithri biopic Mahanati in her Kitty, pairing with Karthi for the first time in her career.
It must be noted that Pandiraj had earlier directed Karthi's brother Suriya in Pasanga 2 in late 2015, and Keerthi Suresh is pairing with Suriya in their upcoming Vignesh Shivan Directorial Thaanaa Serndha Koottam which is scheduled to release on eve of Pongal festival. This flick will be crucial for both Karthi and Pandiraj, as Karthi faced consecutive failures with Kaashmora and Kaatru Veliyidai, and Pandiraj failed with Kathakali and Idhu Namma Aalu respectively. This movie will be produced by Suriya himself in his 2D Entertainments.
