Mahesh Babu just had a release with his biggie SPYder that released on September 27 Worldwide in more than 4000 screens, in both Tamil and Telugu. The A.R.Murugadoss directorial flick that revolved around an intelligence bureau officer played by Mahesh and his mission to eliminate a psychopath played by SJ Surya, has opened to mixed response and decent collections.
The actor was set to join the shoot of his next flick Bharat Ane Nenu, which had its previous schedule shot in Lucknow and Hyderabad. However, it has been reported that the shoot that was supposed to begin from October 6 has been postponed to a later date, for unknown reasons, and currently Mahesh Babu is holidaying with his family.
Bharat Ane Nenu is directed by Hat-trick hitmaker Koratala Siva, who gave a comeback Blockbuster Srimanthudu for Mahesh Babu, and stars Kiara Advani as the female lead, marking her Telugu debut. The film, which has Mahesh playing the chief minister has music by Devi SriPrasad and is bankrolled by DVV Danayya. With the delays in the shoot, it is anticipated that Bharat Ane Nenu, which was earlier planned as a Sankranthi release, might be pushed to a later date.
