Malayalam actor Dileep, who was arrested in connection with the actress abduction and molestation case, has been set free on a conditional bail by the Kerala high court today. This was the actor's 5th bail plea and 3rd before the high court.


The actor, popularly called Janapriyanayakan by his fans, was arrested on July 10, as he was suspected to be involved in the abduction of a young Malayalam actress in February, and was imprisoned in Aluva sub-jail for the past 85 days. While the hearing is due on October 6 before the court, Dileep has been granted a conditional bail with multiple conditions inclusive of a 1 lakh bond, a withheld passport and an order to appear as per the requirements of the investigation team.



Meanwhile, the actor's latest pooja holidays release, the long-delayed political thriller Ramaleela directed by Arun Gopy and costarring Radhika and Prayaga Martin has opened to rave reviews thanks to resemblances with Dileep's own troubled life over the past 3 months and is on the way to become a huge comeback Blockbuster.



It's just a day after his release from Aluva Sub-Jail and his friend KB Ganesh Kumar who is an Actor cum Politician alleged that Mammootty, who is the general secretary of the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA), "unjustly" expelled the Malayalam actor from the organisation. He also dragged Prithviraj and said that Mammootty expelled Dileep as he was under pressure from Prithviraj.
